Dr. Bernard O’Brien
Upon completion of a three year bachelor's program at the University of New South Wales followed by a Master’s Degree at the Macquarie University, Sydney Australia. Dr. Bernard O'Brien received his Doctor of Chiropractic.
Inspired by his own success as a chiropractic patient, Dr. O'Brien graduated in 1995. Following a practice development and transition, Dr. O'Brien moved to the United States in 1998 and opened his flagship practice in
Burnsville, MN, in 1999 where he continues to help patients of all ages, ethnicities, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Dr. O'Brien's Statement:
"My practice philosophy has always been to deliver personalized care for each patient, with clearly defined goals and outcome assessments. Nutrition, physical fitness, and healthy lifestyle choices have long been a part of my
personal life, and have always been at the forefront of my professional practice."
I am proud to say that I have never compromised patient care. From the very beginning I have employed every tool at my disposal to take patients from pain or sickness to wellness and beyond.
As a chiropractor I am most commonly called upon to address pain syndromes - back pain, neck pain, headaches, etc. Controlling or stopping pain is usually the easiest part of the treatment program. The biggest rewards come when
patients continue beyond short term relief care and turn the corner toward getting and staying truly healthy.
I know that I have done my job well when I see a patient eagerly shift from passive care to active participation. Following specially designed weight loss programs, nutrition and supplement suggestions, regular exercise protocols,
and periodic wellness visits are all indications of a patient who knows the benefits of true health care.
Many of my patients have been a regular part of my practice since I opened in 1999. Knowing these patients are enjoying a continually elevated level of health, physically, chemically, and emotionally reminds me daily of why I became
a chiropractor."
