Your First Visit

As a new patient in our office we want you to feel as comfortable and welcome as possible. You have made a positive decision to take your health in the right direction so here are some of the things you can expect on your first visit.

Finding us and what to Bring: We are located on the corner of Burnsville Parkway and Nicollet Avenue in Burnsville. Our building is labeled 101 Parkway Place (the large brown building). Visit Our Location page to get a map and detailed directions. Once you know how to find us make sure to bring any insurance information that you have so that we can check your coverage for our office.

Check In: Stop by the front desk where our friendly and helpful staff will be awaiting your arrival. They will give you some brief paperwork that you can fill out in our waiting area. When you are done with the paperwork the doctor will be notified that you are ready for your appointment. Save time at your appointment by printing and filling out the paperwork before you get to the office. The forms can be found here: New Patient Forms.

Meet the Doctor: The doctor will be out shortly, and provide you with a short tour of the office and an overview of the practice. Then, you will receive a confidential and thorough consultation. This will determine your health history and any specific health concerns you may be having.  We need a thorough understanding of your unique history to determine the root causes of your problem.  The doctor will also perform a chiropractic exam that will determine further the causes of your problems and pinpoint any poorly functioning areas of the body. If warranted, the doctor will take x-rays, and you can rest assured that your doctor has done everything essential to determining how best to help you and provide you with the most effective treatment.

Your Second Visit

Your second visit to our office is referred to as a Report of Finding (ROF). Your ROF may be done on the same day or at a later date than your initial visit.  At your ROF you will be presented with the information the doctor gathered and reviewed after your last visit, and you will be given a detailed plan for achieving optimal health.  The doctor will answer any questions you have and clearly explain their recommendations.  We understand that you are making a big decision to improve your life and your health.  The doctors will make you as comfortable and welcome as possible in making that decision.

Becoming a Patient: Once the initial visits are over you are ready to become a patient and work closely with your doctor to achieve your optimal health. Our entire office is dedicated to helping you Discover Health Through Chiropractic.
