Major Complaint: Headaches and shoulder surgery.
Past History: I needed medication daily
Chiropractic Results: I had been having continual headaches and was taking otc pain medications daily. Dr. O'Brien has worked on my neck and I haven't needed to take any pain medication in nearly 2 years.He also worked with me to aid in the healing of my shoulder after surgery. Major Complaint: Pain in back - especially upper left. This came as the result of a certain move. The pain was sharp - a type that takes your breath away.
Past History: Talking to Dr. he stated I had pulled a tendon. Take pain med and in 6 weeks it will be better. I can't tolerate pain med - so I'd "grin and bare it."
Chiropractic Results: Thanks to God - good friends and Dr. O I feel like a new person. I had the painful experience - also great stressful time in my life, 2 months ago. Major Complaint: Natalie would wake up at night crying. She would be uncomfortable and rub her legs and feet. She had trouble falling back asleep. This would happen several times a night.
Past History: Natalie was in an orphanage in China until she was 16 months old when we adopted her.
Chiropractic Results: After the first couple of adjustments Natalie slept through the night. She no longer wakes up uncomfortable and crying. We are all happier!

 

 

Patient's Name: Noah Pitts
Major Complaint: Reflux, Poor Weight Gain/ Poor Appetite
Past History: Diagnosed at 2 months old w/ reflux and starting reflux precautions. At 5 months he had a couple of episodes of choking R/T reflux where he turned blue. He was then started on Zantac. By about 9 months, the Zantac seemed to not be working anymore so he was switched to Prevacid but it was too difficult to give him.
Chiropractic Results: A friend from work told me about how Dr. Katy made a difference in a child we both knew, who also had reflux. I was ready to give chiropractic health a try because the meds were not working anymore and were very difficult to give Noah, plus he would go through maybe 1 jar of baby food every couple of days at 8 months. He was not even on the weight charts because he was so small. We decided to see Dr. Katy and stop all his meds. She has done wonders for him! His reflux does not bother him anymore and his appetite has increased dramatically resulting in him gaining weight at a much faster pace. His Pediatrician is also thrilled with the results. We are so glad to finally see some rolls on his baby legs =)

Major Complaint: Pain in shoulder, elbow, arm, wrist, and hand. Occasionally awakened with this pain. Overuse with computer mouse during working hours. Some swelling in hand. DO I NEED TO FIND A DIFFERENT LINE OF WORK??
Past History: Heavy use of computer mouse involved during work hours at job.
Chiropractic Results: After a year of regular adjustments pain is gone from the lower arm and wrist. Some work continues with stretches and awareness of hand-finger position while using computer mouse during job hours. I CAN KEEP MY JOB!

Past History: Frequent inability to walk, low back pain, tons of neck pain, headaches all the time.
Chiropractic Results: Well, I can walk! I have much less neck pain and lower back pain. My headaches have almost stopped completely! After seeing a medical doctor and being given many pills I only felt worse but after coming to see Dr. O'Brien I've had great results.

Major Complaint: Fibromyalgia, myofacial pain, severe headaches, low back pain and degenerative discs, irritable bowel syndrome, acid reflux dry skin and hair, Rosacea, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol.
Past History: Fibromyalgia for 10 years. Through the years I have been diagnosed with all these other illnesses. Have had allergies all my life. Also have environmental illness and chemical sensitivities. Pain from Fibromyalgia has been difficult; I have searched for years for help and relief.
Chiropractic Results: I went to a Fibromyalgia seminar conducted by Dr. O'Brien. At the time I could hardly walk and I couldn't turn over. Dr. O'Brien said he could help me but that it would be a long process but to be patient and trust him. Started treatments 3 times a week. I can't say that it was easy or not painful but I started to see results. He succeeded in getting me off most of my medications. Through Dr. O'Brien and chiropractic, his vitamins, ultra clear, massage, and stretching exercises I have been feeling better that I have in years. Thank you Dr. O'Brien and chiropractic for helping me and caring! Chiropractic has been a lifesaver.

Major Complaint: When I first came in, I had strained a muscle in my neck and upper back area due to playing volleyball competitively. 2.5 years later I was rear-ended and the main areas involve the area between the shoulder blades and neck.
Past History: Low back, knee, neck and upper back area between the shoulder blades. Ok, what's not wrong with me =)
Chiropractic Results: Since I have been coming here for regular adjustments, I am able to play better in my sports. I am more able to handle stress by completing regular stretching and fitness activities that were given to me and my overall health is better. It's very relaxing to my muscles and the bones and joints that are in need of regular adjustments. Dr. Bernie and Dr. Katie are wonderful chiropractors who listen to every need and actually do something about it =)

Major Complaint: Neck and back pain, headaches.
Past History: Neck and back pain would make me toss and turn at night, would interfere with sleep. I would wake up with headaches. During day I would feel tired and achy.
Chiropractic Results: My wife encouraged me to go to Dr. O'Brien for my back and neck pain. She was already going to him for back and posture. I want to one of Dr. O'Brien's classes and afterwards had an exam. I discover that I had a phase II spinal degeneration of my neck and also was leaning to one side. The next several months he adjusted me. He then gave me stretches for me to do every day. Now after going to Dr. O'Brien for adjustments and doing stretches for over a year, I feel better with less neck and back pain and less headaches.

Major Complaint: Chronic fluid in his ears
Past History: Zach was very healthy until he was 10 months when he developed an ear infection which did not go away for weeks and resulted with significant fluid in his ears for months and months.
